Kosmar - Greece

Countless beautiful islands, surrounded by glorious beaches and warm, sun-dappled waters, Greece seems to have been created by the gods, with holidays in mind. As the UK's number one Greek specialist, we have a wealth of experience built up over twenty-four years of taking holidaymakers to this magical country.
Kosmar's Greece offers you a choice of over eighty resorts ranging from quiet, unspoilt Symi and Kalymnos to impossibly pretty Skiathos and Parga, and the high-energy nightlife and superb beaches in young and lively resorts like Kavos in Corfu or Malia in Crete. Choose Paros or Naxos for the classic Greek holiday images - white sugar-cube houses, pale yellow sands and colourful fishing boats. Or pick a variation on a theme in the same island group - the 'designer Greece' of super-chic Mykonos, or Santorini, with its dramatic black sand beaches, and scenery to die for. And every year it seems we come across a new beach resort to fall in love with, whether it's on an island, or on the coast of mainland Greece.
With 9,000 miles of coastline to choose from, perhaps that's not so surprising! What is amazing is the way Greece never loses its cool, even when the thermometer passes 100 degrees. The slow pace of life and laid-back attitude of the friendly people will soon work their magic on you. After a day or two, you'll get the idea, and relax into 'go-with the- flow' mode - and that's what holidays to Greece are all about!

Kosmar - Turkey

Until recently, Turkey was seen as an exotic land with a touch of Oriental mystery about it - a little bit of Asia on the Med', where east meets west, a cradle of ancient civilisations, a vast country mostly untouched by tourism. Of course, it still offers all of that, and much more besides. But the really exciting news is that Turkey has joined the holiday club!
The thriving resorts on its Aegean and Turquoise Coast are now a popular choice with summer sunseekers. And as the UK's biggest independent holiday operator to the Aegean, we thought it was time we took a closer look! We liked what we found, and here's the result - our first ever programme featuring holidays to terrific Turkey's top beach resorts. There's beautiful Bodrum, magnificent Marmaris, out-of-this-world Olu Deniz, and a dozen more for you to choose from. So come with us to explore a coastline of pine-scented hillsides and soaring mountains, crescent beaches and shimmering blue seas. Discover the fascinating relics of bygone empires, gasp at natural wonders, treat your tastebuds to a world-famous cuisine, dance under the stars, and shop 'til you drop in the buzzing bazaars. This is Turkey with all the trimmings, served up as only Kosmar knows how! We're looking forward to many new adventures in this fantastic holiday playground. We're sure you're going to love it too and we're so pleased we can share it with you. In fact, if you'll forgive the pun, we're absolutely Turkish delighted! Culture and history Turkey's history is rich and varied, and this vast country has seen many empires and civilisations come and go in it's time. They have all left wonderful relics, from rock tombs to aqueducts, temples to mausoleums, and even whole cities such as Ephesus. Wherever you are in Turkey, you're never far from an archaeological site, and most of the ruins are just standing in a field or on a hillside, rather than fenced off from the outside world.
Climate
In a word, hot! At least in the summer months of June, July, August and September it's usually clear blue skies, very little if any rain, warm evenings and the odd night when it's almost too hot to sleep! In the spring and autumn evenings can be chilly, and you can get a cloudy day or two, so plan accordingly.
