The former fishing village of Ayia Napa is now a major tourist resort, and a 'top-ten' destination for the international young and lively crowd. At its heart stands a 16th-century Venetian Monastery with its cool shaded cloisters, Roman boar's head fountain and 500-year-old sycamore tree. Right next door is Seferis Square where as night falls the bars and pubs fill up with the beautiful people, who later move on to state-of-the-art disco's and theme pubs.

But Ayia Napa is not just for the rave generation! It’s a great all-round resort with a thriving shopping district and a selection of Indian, Chinese, Italian and German restaurants, to add to its attractive tavernas serving delicious local Cypriot dishes.

You could bring three generations of your family here and there would be plenty for every one to enjoy - and we can't think of a better recommendation for Ayia Napa than that!
