Beachside tavernas are a great place to relax with a cold drink, and you'll find plenty of sunbeds, umbrellas and watersports here, especially in high season. The resort's tavernas serve excellent fish and local dishes, and are popular at mid-day with visitors, often arriving on bicycles via the well-made rural back road from Kos Town.
If you fancy a walk, heading south along the coast towards the blue flag beach at Marmari you'll find the Alikes saltpans, a haven for visiting birds (nature lovers should also visit the wetland reserve at Psalidi). By all means take your binoculars, but be careful where you point them, as the dunes along this stretch of beach are popular with those in search of an all-over tan! Nightlife in Tingaki is low key with some friendly music bars, and a couple of disco bars in high summer, and of course, the delights and bright lights of Kos Town are on your doorstep, day and night.
Journey time is approximately 30-35 minutes.
