Types of Airport Parking
We offer a variety of parking types across all our UK airports, each coming with their own individual benefits. Have a look below to find out more about the different types.
Usually our most expensive parking service, a meet & greet package is as straightforward and easy as you can get. Head to the terminal and drop off your car at either the meet & greet offices, or a designated drop-off spot at the terminal itself. A professional chauffeur will meet you, take your keys and park your car while you make your way to departures. Your car will be kept on a safe and secured site for the duration of your trip. On your return, depending on the service and location, either head to the meet & greet office to collect your car, or call up to have your vehicle brought round to the terminal. Meet & greet is particularly good for those travelling with children, have a lot of luggage, or simply want a taste of a VIP airport experience.
A park and ride is a car park located a short distance away from the airport, whether on airport grounds or just outside. Depending on the service and location, you’ll either need to head inside, park in any available bay and keep your keys, or park in a designated drop-off lane, where you’ll then need to head inside the car park’s offices to register your vehicle and hand over your keys. These services work just like a park and ride in a town centre. Simply head to the closest bus stop and hop onto the free shuttle transfer provided by the car park, which will whisk you away to departures. Most park & ride bus journeys won’t take any longer than 15-20 minutes.
Another airport parking option you may not have considered, is parking on hotel grounds for the duration of your time away, as part of one of our great value hotel and parking packages. Many hotels in and around our U.K airport can offer safe and secured parking on their own grounds. Park up in any space when you arrive for your overnight stay and head inside. You may be asked to hand in your keys, as, depending on the hotel, your car may need to be moved within the airport grounds, or to another secured location a little further away. When it’s time to head to the airport, you’ll either need to walk to the terminal, or catch a transfer. This could be a shuttle bus provided by the hotel, a bus that costs a small fee, or a taxi, which reception staff will help you arrange.
